Howell fell to Kansas City Rockhurst, Nov. 14, 20-25.

Rockhurst put up a quick 18 points in the first quarter after a touchdown five minutes into the game. Howell failed to stop them until there was eight minutes left in the half when senior Des Niboh scored on a four yard run. The score remained 18-6 Rockhurst at the half.

Rockhurst came out again in the second half, putting up a total of 25 points in the third quarter. Howell kicked it into gear when senior quarterback Sam Hefner completed a 46 yard pass to senior Sutton Smith, making the score 25-13. With only four minutes left in the third, Niboh ran 16 yards for another touchdown.

Neither team scored in the fourth; the final remained 25-20 Rockhurst. Rockhurst moves on to the state finals at the Edward Jones Dome vs CBC, Nov. 29.
