FHHSToday.com is a FHHS Publication media. Run completely by students, FHHSToday.com is dedicated in bring the latest news to the Howell community in a simple, easy to read format. In addition, FHHSToday.com brings the community a variety of new media options including podcasts and photo stories. You can follow us also on Twitter @fhhstoday.

FHHSToday.com went live in March 2009 as an additional syndicate of Francis Howell Publications. Quickly the site became popular throughout the school and the Howell community as a source for quick news and information. Currently the site sees anywhere from 100-300 visits per day with an average visit lasting around three minutes.

In April 2009, FHHSToday.com was honored by the Francis Howell School District as the official source to in tracking new Francis Howell High School building construction; posting it for the community to see and experience.

In July 2009, the site was completely redesigned with a template courtesy of Shape5.com. The template has been modified to meet the needs of FHHSToday. Students are responsible for writing and posting content, and for managing the site. While the site is based on a template, the layout is not plug-in. The site moved in 2016 to the SNO platform and has remained there.

Currently FHHSToday.com does not run have a full time staff. One editor oversees the website, working with student-submitted content. Content comes from members of the publication staffs, and from the intro to journalism and photojournalism classes.  The site has opened a variety of opportunities for student journalists.

It is the goal of FHHSToday.com to maintain a high level of ethical reporting and continue Francis Howell’s dedication to journalistic excellence while entering new media.

In March 2019, CSPA awarded FHHSToday.com/Spotlight Quarterly a Silver Crown Award.
