The Girls Cross Country team took home the GAC title at both JV and Varsity levels.

Senior Leah Krause was varsity conference champion and sophomore Kristen Adams placed second. Juniors Whitney Adams and Valeska Halamicek placed fourth and seventh, respectively.

For the JV team, senior Ali Barker placed first while sophomore Jackie Molina and juniors Alec Thompson and Rachelle Halbrook also earned medals.

The district meet Sat., Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. and take place at McNair Park.

For the boys cross-country team, the Varsity took sixth place, by a second-team all-conference performance from sophomore Gavin Galanes. Senior Austin Southmayd was the top Howell finisher in the boys JV race.

Both teams will compete Oct. 22 for the district meet, which begins at 10 a.m. and takes place at McNair Park.
