The boys said that team bonding helps them to grow closer and meet their goals.
“The team really bonds a lot during dry land because we push each other to do better. We run to a park and then mess around once we get there,” freshman Adam Sindecuse-Hayden said.
The team also has a cheer that helps with the bonding of the team.
“The team cheer is a tradition that is really cool, it helps us bond. So do the pasta parties we have after meets,” freshman Matt Tschannen said.
Even the injured swimmers continue on with the team spirit and support their fellow teammates.
“I broke my collarbone and was sad at first, but then realized there was nothing I could do about it so I just decided to make the best of it,” junior Bobby Wood said.
The practices have also contributed to the team’s success.
“The practices have been very intense which has been making my muscles very sore,” senior Alex Bayne said.
Overall the team did well at the relay meet and hopes to continue to excel throughout the rest of the season.
“We as a team are pumped up for the rest of the season and want to continue to do well and even push to do better and improve on our personal goals as well,” Bayne said.
