Khalid, an R&B superstar, premiered the remix of his recent hit single “Talk”, April 12. The track brings Megan Thee Stallion and Yo Gotti in the mix. Just as a reminder, the song is about the many difficulties of love: defining the relationship through communication.

To break it down, the song stays true to its sound and Khalid’s verses, but there are new lyrics for the feature parts. Megan Thee Stallion starts off the song with a little rap and singing, and then leads to the classic chorus with Khalid. Yo Gotti makes his appearance towards the end of the record.

The remix is nothing that special. It depends on a person’s preference if they like rap in the song or the original. In my opinion, I think the original is better and the remix wasn’t really necessary.
