The band consists of five members: Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron, and Jonah Marais, and they came together in 2016. They have gone on tours with multiple popular artists like Shawn Mendes and the Chainsmokers.

The new single is about how a boy wants a girl to take a chance on him because he has “big plans” for the two of them. The boys sing “ain’t got everything you want, but got everything you need” in the chorus imploring her to choose him.
