Pop icons Sam Smith and ex Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei collaborated together to create a fresh new single “Dancing With a Stranger” released early 2019. Smith caught his rise to fame in 2012 with his collaboration “Latch” with Disclosure and furthered his popularity with his smash hit “Stay With Me”. Normani started her career in a girl group, Fifth Harmony, on the t.v. show The X Factor in 2012. After all these years, the two stars met by chance at a studio and teamed up for the new song.

The track is about two people trying to find their way around a recent breakup. As the two sing “dancing with a stranger” in the chorus, they create chemistry and harmonize perfectly. As for the music, it has a slight 80s, retro vibe to it.

Overall, both of the artists are extremely talented vocalists and their voices join together in such a modern way. The song is simple yet fun, and definitely not something to miss.
