Varsity boys volleyball seek revenge
Boys bounce back after falling to Ft. Zumwalt West, 2-1
April 18, varsity boys volleyball faces Ft. Zumwalt West at home. In the second game of the season, March 23, the Vikings lost 2-1.
“The third game finished 23-25, and was an intense set. I’m still mad that we lost,” sophomore August Kohrs said.
Revenge is on the team’s mind, and the boys are already thinking of ways to get prepared.
“Ft. Zumwalt West has an extremely talented middle hitter and we will have to watch out for that, but our middle, Zach Reader, is just as talented so you can expect some good plays,” Kohrs said.
“There will be a lot of energy at the game because Howell and West are rivals,” Reader said. “We have a good chance of winning, but I just hope we are mentally prepared.”
The boys will continue to prepare during practice leading up to the game.
“There will likely be a massive crowd supporting the two schools and will be interesting to see just how the game plays out,” Reader said.
