Senior Ryan Perkins is Named All-American Athlete by Louisville Slugger
Every year, in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, Louisville Slugger creates a list of “Pre-season All-Americans,” consisting of a 1st team and a 2nd team. According to the newspaper, to be named an All-American, players must “represent not only amazing athletic ability and talent in their respective positions, [and be] sought after by pro scouts and college recruiters.”
Only 10 outfielders and 3 players from the state of Missouri were named 1st Team All-Americans, and senior Ryan Perkins was one of them. In 2015, Perkins hit .361 with 4 homeruns and 38 RBI. In the outfield he committed only 2 errors to go along with 40 putouts.
“I was honored to be named a Pre-season All-American,” Perkins said. “We still have something to prove this season, especially since we were beat early in the playoffs last season.”

Ryan hit .495 in 2015, tying the current FH record set in 2008 by Nate Orf. ( I think Justin hit .361)
