Tuesday, Feb, 1, the district called off two days of school that night. Typically the district announces its decision at 5:30 a.m the morning of the snow day. However, this time, because of the governor’s emergency declaration in regards to Winter Storm Landon, the district along with others across the region acted before the snow hit. It also called off Thursday evening for Friday.

“The snow days were amazing. I shoveled off my driveway and even tried making a snowman while I was out there, but the snow was too powdery to do anything with it.” junior Mohamad Darwish said.

The last day of school is now Thursday, June 2, while the seniors’ last day is now Wednesday, May 26.
