Track places in the Timberland Wolfpack Invite April 10.

April. 10 Howell’s track team participated in the Timberland Wolfpack Invite.

“The Timberland meet was one cold and ruthless meet,” senior Noah Thomasson said. “It was cold and rainy the entire time, but I’m really proud of our team for pushing forward in the harsh weather conditions and coming out with the win.”

The invitational consisted of 21 teams. The boys track team ranked first overall and the girls track team took fourth.

“Everyone kept a positive attitude because we still wanted to do our best despite the weather. My events went pretty well considering the weather.” senior Lily Figgins said.

“The Timberland meet was a huge meet, but we pulled through. Our team for both boys and girls are extraordinary this year. We plan on winning the state title, and I believe that the Timberland meet showed out resilience during even the toughest of meets,” Thomasson said.

The team has seven meets left in the season with GAC’s set for May. 5.
