Nov. 5th, author Lynn Cahoon visited Mrs. Dunaway’s novel class to discuss her book, Fatality by Firelight. “I liked being able to hear her inspirations for writing her book, especially because we put so much work into reading the book,” senior Hannah Somheil said.

Second hour’s novel class chose to read Lynn Cahoon’s novel, Fatality by Firelight as their last book to read together as a class.

Tuesday, Nov. 5, Lynn Cahoon came to the classroom and talked about her book with the class. The students listened to Cahoon discuss her inspiration for writing her novel, and a small presentation about herself.

After, they were able to ask questions about Cahoon’s writings, life, and inspirations.

“It was a cool experience being able to talk to a published author,” senior Madi Geil said. “I loved how she took the time out of her day to come and talk to us about her books and answer our questions.”
