After nearly a week-long trial, a Denver judge ruled in Taylor Swift’s favor Monday in the “butt groping” case that captivated the nation.

The eight-member jury, made up of six females and two males, awarded Swift a mere one dollar after approximately four hours of deliberation.

The groping allegations began after Swift claimed former Denver radio host, David Mueller touched her inappropriately when taking a picture with her at her meet-and-greet before a Denver show in June 2013. Swift countersued Mueller after he claimed Swift was responsible for ruining his reputation and his eventual wrongful termination. Mueller hoped for $3 million from Swift and her mother, Andrea Swift.

“My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard,” Swift said in a statement released after the decision. She then stated that she would “be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims”.
