“If you’re ever looking for a good jam session, hop in my F150, and we can sing a duet to Katy Perry,” senior John Coveney said.

Coveney’s outgoing personality shines through his involvement at Howell.

“I am apart of multiple clubs at Howell, each of them have a special place in my heart,” Coveney said. “Since I hurt my shoulder playing baseball, and was unable to continue my passion I found a new way to stay involved at school.”

His involvement in DECA lead him to new opportunities and helped him find a career path for his future.

“Since I joined DECA , I was lucky enough to qualify for DECA ICDC in Nashville, TN,” Coveney said. “During my preparation, and competitions I discovered a new career pathway for my future. I am interested in pursuing a career in Marketing Management. Hopefully I can combine two of my favorite things: Business and Baseball into my job.”
