Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room by five men disguised as police. According to ABC news, the assailants were able to get a key to her hotel room from the concierge after threatening him. Once inside, they tied her hands and feet together, duct taped her mouth, and placed her in the bathtub.

“I think the whole thing is probably a hoax,” senior John Coveney said. “Kanye has people looking out for Kim at all times.”

Kardashian was in France for Paris Fashion week and did not have her two children with her. She reported to having 10 million dollars worth of jewelry stolen along with her two smart phones which hold large amounts of personal information.

“The whole story sound similar to the Ryan Lochte situation to me,” Coveney added.

After news of the robbery traveled to Kanye West, the singer cut short of his concert in New York claiming a ‘family emergency’. Videos of his concert announcement have gone viral on social media sites such as Twitter and Instagram.

Kardashian has claimed to be physically unharmed, in a statement released by her publicist.
