School paints over the past
2016 senior hands get painted over
Annually, as a part of being a senior, you paint your hand either blue or yellow to be printed onto a white wall and sign your name by your hand. The designated spot for this tradition is above the main commons stairwell; however, each year it is repainted white over the previous handprints, to then be reprinted by the upcoming senior class. If tradition lives here, why do we have to paint over the existing prints? We could recover space in blank hallways such as the G hallway by the drama and band rooms. Think about how unique it would be to bring your kids ten years from now to Howell and show them your personalized print that still remains. That way, you can truly leave your mark at Francis Howell.
