What to Bring to College Orientation
With college coming up for seniors in a few short months, many students are beginning to go to college orientation sessions. Not only do you sign up for classes, but you also receive a lot of information. In order to be prepared, here is a list of things to bring to college orientation:
- Notebook: A notebook will help you take notes so you don’t forget any of the important information later.
- Pen/pencils: Because the orientation sessions may not provide writing utensils, it’s a good idea to bring a few along.
- Comfortable walking shoes: Many college orientation sessions occur during the summer. To stay comfortable, dress casual and wear comfortable shoes so your feet aren’t sore after walking all over campus.
- Overnight bag: Some orientation sessions are overnight, so if this is the case, make sure to bring an overnight bag with appropriate clothing.
- A positive attitude: Smile! Now is your time to meet new people and learn about your future home. Enjoy your time walking around the campus; you’ll be there for the next four years after all.
