Pocket change for a cause. The annual Penny War, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, begins this Thursday, April 13 and will run through April 22. Any monetary donation is accepted, as the goal is to raise over $2,000.

The event is a competition between all first hour classes. The class that raises the most money will receive free breakfast from St. Louis Bread Company. In addition, if the $2,000 goal is met, a few brave teachers will shave their heads at the spring pep assembly, April 22.

So, clean out your pockets, cars, and wallets to fight childhood cancer.
