Construction Causes Water Pressure to Drop
Water problems during break, and water problems back at school. In the aftermath of the recent flooding, Missouri American has been working on waterlines in the area. As a result, water pressure in the building has gone down, causing plumbing problems all over school. Most notably, the toilets are not flushing due to this lack of pressure.
“It’s disgusting,” senior Katelyn Zornes said. “It’s a problem they really need to fix.”
Most toilet troubles occur during passing periods, when most students use the bathroom. However, as the root of the problem is outside of Howell, not much can be done.
“We do not expect the work to impact our activities,” Dr. Dave Wedlock said. “If challenges arise, we will address them as they occur.
