The varsity boys soccer team is currently 18-7-1 and will be playing for a sectional championship for only the second time in school history.
The boys defeated Ft. Zumwalt West, 4-3, and Howell Central, 2-1, en route to a district title. Nov. 3, it defeated Hazelwood West, 3-1, to make it to the sectional title game.
“We’ve had our ups and downs this season,” senior Joel Jenkins said. “It seems we’ve put it all together at the right time.”
With a win Saturday, the boys would be the first Howell boys’ soccer team to make it to the final four.
“As crazy as this has been for us, I wouldn’t have imagined it any other way,” Jenkins said.
The game will be hosted at Howell Saturday at 1 p.m. against Holt.
