Crocs Make a Comeback in Howell Hallways

As many have noticed, an old footwear trend is resurfacing. Crocs.

First sold in 2002, the shoes were instantly popular and business for the company quickly grew. However, as time went on, people started to lose interest in the fad and the sales plummeted. Time passed and the incredible love for these colorful foam clogs disappeared…until recently.

Students, more than any other age category, have once again started sporting the shoes because of their comfort and unordinary appearance. Crocs are also hitting stores harder than in recent years as well. They are re-appearing on shelves as more and more people are demanding these shoes.

“People are complaining about how Crocs are so ugly and then they’re buying them. I don’t understand,” junior Kennedy Cooper said.

Thanks to the powers of peer pressure and trends, Crocs have made a comeback.  Who knows how long this second go-around will last?
