PJ Day Kicks off Spirit Week

Spirit week started off sleepy with PJ Day on Monday.

“PJ day is great. It’s an easy way to show school spirit,” junior Maria Helleny said.

The halls were filled with people in all sorts of PJs from fuzzy pants with penguins or Scooby Doo on them to onsies including unicorns, sharks, Olaf from Frozen, and even Chewbacca.

“I don’t usually participate in spirit day, so when I saw a chance where it would be fun, comfortable, and easy, I had to show my viking pride,” senior Maggie Recca said. “Some of the onsies were really unique. It was very cool.”

Get ready for a healthy dose of school spirit tomorrow with salad dressing wars, freshman are blue cheese, blue and gold; sophomores are ranch dressing, western; juniors are a thousand island, beach day; and seniors are caesar salad; toga. Show support for you favorite team on sport’s day, Wednesday. It’s time to take things back old school on throwback Thursday, and Friday keeps the tradition of being blue and gold day.
