At this point, I’m pretty sure everyone has noticed the new water bottle refill stations, called the Elkay EZH2O.There’s almost always a crowd around it, especially during passing period. One of the EZH20’s was bought by the school district, and two others were bought by Howell. Spanish teacher Karen Irizarry came to Principal Dave Wedlock with the idea as a way to save water bottles, and Wedlock though it would be a better and faster way to save bottles.
“I’m really pleased to see how students have reacted,” said Wedlock. “We could get more, but let’s see how it progresses.”
Howell already has two more of the water fountains than the other high schools in the district.
