On Tuesday, Jan. 1, math teacher Kelli Griebenow lost her battle with cancer at 1:45 p.m. To honor her life, a moment of silence occured during homeroom, Thursday, Jan. 3.

A memorial and celebration of Griebenow’s life will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin, MO. The visitation is open to the public from 2-8 p.m.

As Howell mourns the loss of Griebenow, students are encouraged to speak with guidance counselors, and adult peers throughout the building about anything they may feel during this time.

For those who would like to offer further support the Griebenow’s, the family has requested any donations be made to “The Griebenow Family” for her children at First Community Credit Union, 17151 Chesterfield Airport Rd., Chesterfield, MO. 63005.   The Griebenow’s have two children.
