You’re beautiful.
These two words had an impact on several students, when posted on the mirrors in various girls bathrooms across the school.
“Those post-it notes were the sweetest things,” junior Alex Hedger said. “They were helping raise people’s self esteem, and I found them effective.”
However Junior Lexi Dobert failed to find the notes as helpful due to spelling errors.
“I appreciated the attempt, but ‘you’re’ was misspelled,” Dobert said. “It would’ve helped get the message across better if whoever in charge had not messed up spelling two words.”
Though Dobert acknowledged the attempt, sophomore Lacey Morgan did not appreciate the notes entirely.
“I feel like people are going to change them, and make the sticky notes say bad things to bring down students self esteem,” Morgan said. “It only takes one person to change an empowering, inspirational message into a threat or a derogatory statement.”
