Fellowship of Christian Athletes Begins Bi-Weekly Meetings

Food. Fellowship. Friends. This is what the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is all about, and is a great place to learn more about the Christian faith.

“It get’s me closer to God, and helps me be more like him,” Freshman Jessica Hedrick said.

All kids of all grades attend, which results with different perspectives.

“To me the mission is to establish unity with other Christian believers,” Leader Kristen Hemmersmeier said.

FCA also has a strong impact on the those who attend it, and gives students guidance and support in their relationship with Christ.

“It impacts me by giving me a new perspective on other’s relationships with God,” Sophomore Kyle Ward said.

The student leaders of FCA were chosen to lead their peers in groups, and have discussions about the topic of the week.

“When I was asked to be a leader I felt that it would be a good way to spread the Christian faith,” Leader Amy Hirner said.

FCA always has food, and is a great time to hang out with friends.

“I love meeting new Christians, and finding more people to support me in my faith,” Hemmersmeier said.

Overall FCA is a safe place for anyone to come and grow in their faith.

“The mission is for kids to further their relationship with God,” Freshman Courtney Radle said.
