Writers Javoni Faucette and Megan Golliver review the Hwy K. location of El Maguey Mexican Cuisine.
Upon entering, customers are greeted by very loud and friendly employees. The decor feels authentic, and the music is loud and cheerful. You are provided with unlimited chips and salsa, which tends to fill you up before your entree even arrives. The servers are friendly and welcoming; they make you smile the entire meal. El Maguey’s prices are amazing for the quality and amount you receive. The meal is real Mexican cuisine- you aren’t paying for cheap, Americanized food.Overall, we score this restaurant a 92 out of 100. This score is a solid A, which is the second highest out of our four stops. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you are guaranteed to have a good time.
