Kitaro: Great Experience, Costly Prices

Writers Javoni Faucette Megan Golliver give their take on the local Japanese hibachi and sushi grill, Kitaro.
Immediately when you walk into the doors of Kitaro, you are welcomed by friendly staff and a zen atmosphere. Guests have the option of sitting at a dining table, the hibachi grill, or the sushi bar. If you will be sitting at the hibachi grill, make sure reservations are made in advance. To enhance your experience, going as a party of eight to ten would make your meal less awkward and more fun! But if you plan on going with a smaller party, you’ll get to meet new people. The food is very good, but it’s a little on the pricey side. The amount of food definitely compensates for the price tag. The cost of the food also includes an interactive cooking experience with a hilarious chef.

Overall our dining experience was highly enjoyable. We had so much fun getting to know the family at our table, and our exuberant chef. If we were to rate Kitaro we would give it an 87 out of 100, which equals a B. If you want a fun dinner experience Kitaro is the place to go.
