According to the St.Louis Post Dispatch, former Francis Howell student Michael A. Gianino, 17, was charged this week with involuntary manslaughter and assault. The charges stem from an Oct. 17 hill-hopping crash on Greens Bottom Road, which resulted in the death of Clayton Newell of Francis Howell North. Investigations confirm that Gianino was the driver in the crash.Gianino, who was 16 at the time of the crash, will be tried as an adult.
