The library has once again started collecting peanut butter for “Spread the Love”.
Each jar of peanut butter brought to the library can be used to pay off overdue library fines. Each jar is worth two dollars towards the fine.
The jars will be sent to the House of Hope Orphanage in Haiti, where the peanut butter is used as a source of protein for orphaned children.
“Spread the Love” drive is an annual event hosted by the library.
