Francis Howell High School is proud to announce the following MSHSAA programs at Howell have earned MSHSAA Scholastic Achievement Award recognition for academic excellence during the fall semester of 2011.
A variety of MSHSAA programs at Howell earned MSHSAA Scholastic Achievement Award recognitions for academic excellence for the 2011 fall semester.
The achievement awards are tiered and 18 activities received a MSHSAA Scholastic Achievement Award – Outstanding for an average GPA of 3.25-4.0.
These activities were the following: Boys Swimming (3.89), Girls Cross Country (3.85), Varsity Softball (3.79), Girls Golf (3.75), Girls Tennis (3.70), Varsity Girls Volleyball (3.63), Speech/Debate (3.60), Varsity Pommers (3.56), Freshman Girls Volleyball (3.52), Band/Music (3.49), Boys Cross Country (3.42), JV Girls Volleyball (3.41), JV Softball (3.37), Varsity Cheerleading (3.35), Varsity Boys Soccer (3.35), Freshman Softball (3.34), Vocal (3.26), and Freshman Boys Soccer (3.25).
Three activities received MSHSAA Scholastic Achievement Award-Distinguished recognition for an average GPA of 3.0-3.24. These activities were Freshman Cheerleading (3.10), JV Cheerleading (3.06), and JV Boys Soccer (3.04).
All MSHSAA sports and non-athletic earned a combined average grade point average of 3.39 for the fall semester.
