The Girls JV basketball team defeated Eureka Jan. 23, with a final score of 37-34.

Lead scorer was sophomore Alex Martin with 14-points, followed by sophomore Sarah Fick with 8-points.

The girls began the Parkway Central Tournament Jan. 24 by playing the Parkway Central Colts. The girls lost 37-41. Sophomore Sarah Fick, however, grabbed 10 rebounds and sophomore Alex Martin had 18-points. Freshman Kristin Hemmersmeier assisted with six baskets.

The next round of the tournament will be Thurs. Jan. 26 at 4 p.m.
