The front half of the new academic wing experienced a power outage Nov. 11 around 7:30 a.m.
The outage caused fire doors to close and emergency lights to go on. The cafeteria, library, hallways, certain stairwells, and offices were left without power. Classrooms and computer labs, however, did not lose power.
At the beginning of second hour, principal Chris Greiner came on the intercom announcing that the custodians were turning the power back on in the affected areas.
The outage was the first in the new academic wing.
