The Girls’ Golf team finished 4th in the 2011 MSHSAA Girls’ Golf State Championships Tuesday.  With a final team score of 363 the Vikings were two shots shy of finishing 2nd as Columbia Rock Bridge claimed the title.

Senior Brittney Jostes became the highest state finisher in Viking girls golf history with a 3rd place finish and freshman Tess McCorkle finished 6th in the state.

Other members of the team with strong finishes and low scores to contribute to the first Final Four team finish in girls golf at Howell were junior Katie Ringhausen and seniors Alyssa Ringhausen and Sam Melton.
