Remains found in a creek on the border of Lincoln and Warren counties have been identified as  Francis Howell class of 2004 alumnus Nicholas Coppola. The remains were found July 26 and dental records matched the remains to Coppola.

Coppola, an economics major at the University of Missouri, had been missing since Dec. 12 when he abandoned his car after it ran out of gas on Interstate 70 eastbound, just west of the Foristell exit.

Police do not suspect foul play.
