  • The 2015 Parent Club is selling Super Smokers Smoked Pork Shoulders with delivery just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday Break. Stop by the table during the October conferences and to pre-order slow-smoked pork shoulders.  Questions contact:  [email protected]
  • The 2013 Parent Club and Blue & Gold Club of Francis Howell High School are pleased to announce their First Annual Holiday Boutique Saturday, October 22, 2011  10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. located in the  New “Commons” Area. This Shopping Extravaganza will feature approximately 30 vendors offering items such as: belts, headbands, jewelry & napkin rings, custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes, designer replica handbags, makeup, and much more.
  • Parents of Seniors: The Class of 2012 Parent Club will meet on Thursday October 6th 7:00 PM at Brunswick XL located at 8070 Veterans Memorial Parkway.  This will be the only time they will be touring the facility before the event.
  • The Library will welcome the Scholastic Book Fair back to Francis Howell through tomorrow, the 5th! All are welcome to attend! The fair will be open school day hours and during parent teacher conference times. A new addition to the book fair this year is our own Francis Howell Scholastic Book Fair Homepage!  This homepage is accessible to everyone!   • 2012 senior ads are due Friday, Oct. 21. Remember your senior by submitting an ad in the yearbook. Forms can be found by going to www.fhhstoday.com and clicking on the senior ad button.
  • All seniors need to be photographed by Prestige Portraits in order to be in the yearbook. The yearbook sitting is complimentary. No other photos will be accepted and photos taken by Lifetouch at schedule pick up cannot be used. Prestige’s scheduling number is 314.963.1414. The deadline is Nov. 5.
  • Seniors who want to order the Panoramic Class Picture that was taken you can see Mrs. Greer in the Old C building or Mrs. Adamick in the Main office for an order form. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]
  •  Seniors that did not order class shirts or who would like to purchase more items have another opportunity!  They can pick up an order form from Mrs. Greer in the Old C building or Mrs. Adamick in the main office.  Orders will be due on November 3rd. Clubs:

  • The YIG bill form is available online now. Deadline for uploading bill is tomorrow. See Mrs. Seznak in A106 for details.
  • This is a reminder that First Priority meets every Monday at 2:30 in B118.

  • Viking Way meetings every Tuesday at 6:55 am in D003. All are welcome to attend.

Guidance:

  • 2011 Yale Information Session.  The Assistant Director of Admissions will discuss academic programs, residential college and campus life, admissions and financial aid.  Session will be held at Clayton High School, to register please visit:  apps.admissions.yale.edu/events
  • Engineering Career Day at the St. Louis Science Center. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held Saturday October 8, 2011, 9:30 – 3:00. Hands-on engineering activities, displays, activities and giveaways from local engineering firms, schools and professional societies  Opportunities for parents and students to talk with college recruiters, engineering companies and students in engineering.  Local FIRST Robotics Teams will be there showing off their competition robots  For more details contact Paul Freiling at [email protected]
