On Saturday April 9th the Mr. Viking Competition will be underway and a variety of senior boys will be competing for the title of Mr. Viking.
“I’m a little nervous because it’s the same day as ACT,” senior Ethan Isaac said.
Isaac is competing as Mr. Drama and he has had a month to prepare his own talent, pick out his formal wear that is provided by Savi Formal Wear and practice for the interview portion of the competition.
Isaac will be competing to represent drama as a activity of the school. Other boys will be competing for their activities as well.
“My friend did some choreography and I’ll be singing “Fly Me To The Moon” by Frank Sinatra,” Isaac said.
After the month of preparation Isaac and all of the boys have had the audience and judges are ready to see what they can bring to the table.
“I’m going to go out there and give it my best,” Isaac said.
The Mr. Viking competition will be held in the Francis Howell Auditorium starting at 6:30 pm Saturday April 9th. Tickets are being sold during all lunch periods and also at the door.
