With the multiple snow days the school district encountered in the past two months, staff and students have been waiting to hear if dates would be changed on the district calendar.

Travis Bracht, director of student learning, recently stated in an email that administration came to the conclusion to push back the ending date of third quarter.

Originally scheduled to end March 9, third quarter will now end on Friday, March 25.

This means that teachers’ grades will be due at 8 a.m. on March 30, and report cards for third quarter will be sent to parents on Monday, April 4. Parent teacher conferences for Howell will now be 3 to 6:30 p.m Tuesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24.

Originally, students were supposed to be off school March 11, March 25, and April 25 . But due to the snow interference, these days have been put back on the calendar as regular school days.

The last calendar change includes school ending on June 1, just three days before graduation.
