The Scholastic Press Rights Commission has chosen its new Student Partners. These partners will work on a project called 45words. Among them is sophomore Alison Dunaway.
“I was really nervous, applying for this,” Dunaway said. “I really love journalism and the First Amendment is really important to me.”
Student Partners advocate for the First Amendment in their school and community, as well as create content for the 45words site. They also will staff a booth and present a session at one of the national JEA/NSPA conventions.
