The annual Homecoming festival is scheduled for the afternoon of Sept 24, with a half day of classes. The Powderpuff game will take place during this festival. Administrators have announced that there is a possibility of rain conflicting with the game.
In the case of rain, the festival will be canceled. Whether or not the festival will be called off will be decided by administrators by eight a.m.
If the festival is canceled by eight a.m. students will have a full day of school, with 50 minute class periods. If not called off, students will be excused from class at 12 p.m. and will either report to the stadium, or leave campus. No rides will be provided until regular release time.
In the event that lightening occurs during the festival, students will exit the stadium and be escorted to the small gym, cafeteria, or library. At this time, students with rides can leave campus, students who ride the bus will wait until regular release time.
UPDATE: Administrators have announced the Homecoming festival is set to occur.
In the case of rain later on in the day, students will be escorted from the stadium to the small gym, cafeteria, or library until release.
