“This is my eighth year teaching at Howell. It’s the only school I’ve ever taught at, but I really like the students, I like the classes I teach, and I feel like we’ve got a nice school community to be proud of. When I was in high school I had two really good science teachers that just made it fun, and they were likeable and cared about you as a student, and those were my favorite classes. I always liked science, too, but I would say that the two science teachers I had in high school definitely had an influence on me. Since we’re talking about careers, I’d say its important that you find something that you can be excited about doing everyday, like I work with people who love their jobs, and I myself have a great time every day at work. But there are also people who are miserable as well. So I think the most important thing is finding what you like to do and then pursuing that.”
