“I moved in fifth grade; I was 11 years old. I moved from Hawaii [to Missouri]  because of my dad’s work. I was expecting it to be like when I left because I lived here (Missouri) before I moved. [It was hard] adjusting to new people and new places. [It was also hard] to not have the same people around you. [It was] a little bit [hard making new friends].”
