2024’s “The Garfield Movie”  is a time machine back to all of our childhoods, and it is so exciting for us to see what new adventures  this lovable furball will take us on this time. My rating of this movie is definitely a 5/5. “The Garfield Movie” uses modern animation and storytelling while keeping the humor and laziness fans love. It also adds themes of friendship and personal growth to appeal to both old and new fans.

Director Mark Dindal updated the animation style, making it more dynamic and visually engaging. The animation style is more appealing to younger audiences who are used to the high-quality visuals that are more used in today’s world. This level of new updated visuals results in children to have a more captivating and enjoyable experience that keeps them interested throughout. 

Bringing back the Garfield franchise and fans for another movie after so many years. It would appeal to older people for it being nostalgic, but also to the younger audience because of new animation techniques It was a funny, and good franchise, and the humor in it is timeless, so the people that watched Garfield back then would love to see a new one, and the humor of Garfield would interest new people into watching it. 

Chris Pratt voiced Garfield in the new movie. Pratt was able to sound exactly like Garfield, embodying his role perfectly, making the audience love the movie more with his iconic voice. Garfield is a very iconic character, and people want to watch that movie expecting that they were going to hear the OG Garfield. A lot of people love Pratt, so it was much more enjoyable knowing that the voice sounded the exact same as that of such a famous person.

Compared to other comedies, “The Garfield Movie” stands out because it mixes classic humor with cool animation and Chris Pratt’s funny voice, making it enjoyable for both long-time fans and new viewers. The film brings Garfield’s iconic humor and lazy attitude to life with amazing visuals, while Pratt’s voice adds a charm that makes him seem more fun and new.
