“I am half Indian and I love my parents and my older sister for being there because they really helped me by supporting and encouraging me academically and in general. They also made me feel confident for who I am. This and my trip to India to visit my family shaped me as a person. I feel parents and friends have shaped me to be the competent and hardworking person I am today,” Joshi said.
