Girls Tennis Finishes Regular Season 8-1
After beating Liberty 5-4 Sept. 20, girls tennis ended its regular season 8-1 at Howell.
“It was like a game that if we didn’t win, we wouldn’t get to GACs,” sophomore Carissa Choi said. “It was a lot of pressure and our last game with our doubles partners, but we ended up winning by a lot.”
Following the regular season, the team advanced to and won GACs and district championships as well. Girls tennis advances to individual sectionals Oct. 8, and team sectionals Oct. 10.
