The boys and girls track teams won the Mike Rogers Invitational March 19. The boys team won by 82 points and placed first with a total of 173 points, and the girls team won by 41 points and placed first with a total of 141 points. Both teams will compete at Francis Howell Central for the Todd Bizzell Memorial Spartan Relays meet April 1. “Everyone was cheering at the finish line for all of our runners,” junior Izzy Dunbar said. “I know I always run faster when people root for me, so I definitely think that’s one reason we were so successful that meet.” 

The boys and girls track team completed at Francis Howell Central for the Todd Bizzell Memorial Spartan Relays meet April 1. Both teams placed first out of the eight schools entered in the meet. Five throwers got new personal records, and the boys mid-distance relay won with a strong finish by Freshman Sterling Holloman. “I’m glad I managed to pull through and come out in front on that last lap,” Holloman said. “I think the rest of our relay team ran really well this meet.”
