Thursday, March 1, the district lifted the mask mandate on bus transportation after the CDC stated that, effective immediately, the CDC “does not require that people wear masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.” Based on the updated CDC guidelines, masks are optional on buses for students going back and forth from school and all other school-sponsored activities and events.
