Feb. 11, the basketball program hosted Troy in the GAC South matchups. The evening saw record crowds. After being down by 18 points in the second half, the boys basketball team came back to win 67-66 with 12 seconds remaining. Senior Booker Simmons led the way with 28 points and senior Gabe James added 25 points. This was the 56th straight conference win for the boys program, which earned its eighth straight conference championship. The boys basketball program is now 74-4 in conference play as of Feb. 12.
