Saturday, Oct. 9, the Marching Band competed in Ft. Zumwalt North’s River City Showcase along with 15 other bands. In 2019, the band did not make it to finals at the competition, however, the band made it to finals with its 2021 show entitled “Kusama”.

“I was so scared. I thought that we were going to go home like we did two years ago, my heart was in my throat when they called our name, I was so relieved.” senior Melina Karavousanos said.

The Marching Band’s final performance landed them in seventh place among the other eight bands that made it to finals.
