Varsity football falls in State Quarterfinals
Varsity football fell to DeSmet 7-28, Nov. 15. Howell was down 13 players, battling against the number one ranked team in the state. The Vikings finished their season 9-2, playing in their second straight State Quarterfinal same and won their third straight conference championship.
“Going into the game, we were the most prepared we had been all season,” senior Reid Weber said. “Our defense and offense were firing on all cylinders, but we still came up short. I was still extremely proud of the team and the season we were able to have.”
